David C. Olivas, DDS

Dr. Olivas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, TX and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, TX.  Prior to graduating from dental school, Dr. Olivas worked as a chemical engineer.

David is a native Texan and practiced in Midland, Texas for ten years before relocating to Maine. In 1992, David, with his wife Julia, established their general dentistry practice in Rockport. He feels privileged to hold a license to practice dentistry in both Maine and Texas.

For many years, Dr. Olivas served as Treasurer, and subsequently Chairman, of the Maine Dental Association’s Political Action Committee and currently serves as an examiner and consultant for the NorthEast Board of Dental Examiners. He also serves on the Parks and Recreation Committee for the town of Camden.

He loves his profession and is committed to providing a wide spectrum of dental services requested from and needed by his patients.
